Presentation:Pathways for Youth to the Labour MarketFor young Canadians, finding a career path that leads to a well-paid job is critical for their own well-being. At the same time, the continued prosperity of our economy relies in part on finding ways to enable our young adults to fully use their skills, knowledge, creativity, and learning capacity in our workplaces. CPRN's project, Pathways for Youth to the Labour Market, launched in 2006, is identifying public policy issues and options associated with the need to provide young people with the learning opportunities and support from educational institutions and community-based services to help them in their pathway from school to a fulfilling career. This presentation highlights some initial key findings drawn from the five published studies.
